Tape Runner
Marvy Paper Trimming Buddy
Ruler
Red, Orange, & Purple Cat’s Eye Inkpads
http://craftsbyyou.com/

Directions to Make Flowers:
First Make the Flowers, so the glue has time to dry.
Best to work with one flower at a time.
   Start with your burgundy flower:
Glue all of your flowers together by placing a
dot of glue in the center of each flower.
The 3 larger flowers on the bottom, the 3 smaller
flowers on top.  Glue one on top of the other
staggering the petals. Use only enough glue to
glue the centers of the flowers together.
   (Zip Dry Glue)
Because you are going to fold each layer
of petals upward, to make the flowers 3 dimensional.

Repeat this step with the other 3 colors of flowers.

Place the large self adhesive yellow pearl in the
   center of the large flower.
Place a medium self adhesive yellow pearl in the
center of each of the smaller flowers.

Tip: Use a wooden Cloths Pin to hold your flowers
   together while they are drying.

Set flowers aside and go on to next step.

Leaves:
Rub the edges of the leaves with a red or burgundy
inkpad.  Fold leaves in half, folding the sides upward.
Roll tips of leaves downward, to make them look
   more real.

Autumn Leaves Card

Autumn leaves card.jpg

Autumn Leaves Card   3 5/8” x 5”
   (Fits in a 3 ¾” x 5 ¼” Clear Top Vu Box)

Materials Needed:
Kraft Cardstock 7 ¼” x 5”
     (base card)
Black smooth cardstock: cut to 2 ¼” x 4 ½”
Black smooth cardstock: cut to 3 ¼” x 4 ¾”
Dark Yellow cardstock: cut to 3” x 4 ½”
For these leaves smooth cardstock works best.
5 Large leaves punched out of Fall Colored cardstock,
using the Whale of a Punch Maple Leaf Punch
4 Medium leaves punched out of Fall Colored cardstock,
using the Paper Shapers Medium Maple Leaf Punch
5 Small leaves punched out of Fall Colored cardstock,
using the Paper Shapers Small Maple Leaf Punch
Tip: Punch extra leaves, in case you need them.
 http://www.craftsbyyou.com/paper.html
Directions:
Base Card: Fold the Kraft cardstock in half.
   Creating a 3 5/8” x 5” base card
This card can open from the side or bottom.
For instructions I will explain as if card opens from
  the bottom.
Adhere smaller piece of Black cardstock to front of
Base card, ¼” from sides and top.
Leaves: Draw veins on each leaf with a coordinating
ink pen.  I use the Sakura Gelly Roll Star Pens.
   (Gold, Green and Red)
Ink the edges of each leaf with brown ink.  For this I use
different shades of Brown Color Box Cats Eye Ink Pads.
Fold each leaf in half on the main vein.  Now roll the sides
of each leaf downward, to make it look more natural.
Lay your leaves out on the front of the card.  Start from
either side, arranging them on the Black cardstock, over
lapping onto the Kraft cardstock.  (save one medium leaf
and one small leaf for the inside of card)
Tip: Sometimes I find it easier to place the large leaves
down first, then fill in with the medium and small leaves.
After you have them in place, moving them as little as
possible, start gluing the leaves down.  Glue only the
center fold down, using Zip Dry Glue.

Inside of Card:
Adhere Dark Yellow cardstock to center of larger piece of
Black cardstock. Now adhere this to center of lower half
   of inside of card.
Glue one medium leaf and one small leaf to lower left
   corner of Dark Yellow cardstock.
